Cherry Blossom Festival - Resources Unlimited

The National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C celebrates the arrival of spring and the 1912 gift of cherry trees from Japan with events from late March to mid-April. There is also an annual parade held. The parade is centered around the beautiful blossoms which are around the Tidal Basin and National Mall

This event is special because it commemorates the gift of the 3,000 cherry trees from Tokyo in 1912. It symbolizes
hope, renewal and friendship between nations.

We will be traveling to Washington, D.C. to view the beautiful Cherry Blossoms on April 10-12, 2026. Our transportation will be by W & W Luxury Limousine services and lodging will be at Hampton Inn- Glen Arden. There is shopping and restaurants located within walking distance of the hotel. A special meal will be catered for all Resources Unlimited travelers.
